Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. The singer has released a number of high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that have been widely praised. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering a piano hidden in her attic, then becoming enthralled by the sounds it produced.
