Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mom work. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. After she had converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's son was born May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to fans the joyous information that she was pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its popularity.
